‘Tis the season to be jolly

The festive season has chewed me up whole and I’m loving every minute of it!

From social events, to keeping fit, to spending time with friends and family, to surviving the end of the world, I ‘ve done it all.  For those who celebrate, Christmas has already come and gone, such an incredible day that somehow fills every space with love, a day where laughter rings out and special moments are forever captured in time. Christmas is not as much about opening our presents as opening our hearts. It’s one of my favourite days of the year!

Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love! ~ Hamilton Wright Mabie

By the time this post gets published I will have done a short road trip already this morning and arrived at my New Years destination. For the next five days I am going to spent it on a farm with thousands of others, sleeping in tents, watching endless live bands, soaking up the glorious South African sunshine, swimming in a dam and doing what I do best, being a carefree barefoot child at heart!

I can’t wait!!!

I smile as I think how fitting it is that as I begin to wind up a year that has held one incredible adventure after another, I will be saying farewell to my fabulous journey that was 2012 with my accommodation a tent, only but bare necessities, the best crazy-ass friends, outdoors in the sunshine, live music and being one with nature.

Grateful for a year that has taught me so much, that has held so many incredible blessings and that has helped me reach so far beyond my wildest dreams.  A year that has introduced amazing new souls into my life and a year that has reconnected me with old friends and a year that saw so many of my biggest dreams come true.

I still have to finish my story “A Journey to the Top of Kilimanjaro”  ~ No, I have not forgotten.  So while the festivities continue I won’t be blogging for at least the next week or so but I will be back to regular posts really soon. When I return from my trip on New Years Day I go straight into moving into my new home. I am beyond excited at all this past year has held and for all the new year is already offering me with opens hands.

As we journey through the last days of 2012, I wish you peace and love.

Capture the all-encompassing energy of this incredible season, tuck it into your heart and take it with you into the forthcoming year.

May your new year be filled with magic and dreams.

May your life overflow with blessing.

May your New Years celebrations be as epic as your biggest moments of 2012.

Fall in love with life and all it has to offer.

A new year beckons, new adventures await, dreams to unfold and visions to believe ~ I for one, can’t wait to get started….!

Happy ChooseDay!

“Your journey has molded you for your greater good, and it was exactly what it needed to be. Don’t think you’ve lost time. There is no short-cutting to life. It took each and every situation you have encountered to bring you to the now. And now is right on time.” ~ Asha Tyson

They say not all those who wander are lost.
